The wreck occurred in Hollywood, California, and resulted in a pickup truck slamming into the side of a pizzeria. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of LaBrea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.
An ambulance was requested for two members involved in the crash and police have not commented on the situation yet. Security footage shows the pickup truck, which reportedly belongs to Ruck, rear-ended a car at a stoplight before striking a BMW and ending up partially inside Raffallo’s Pizza.
In several released photos, the Rivian pickup truck is half inside the Pizza shop in what appears to be the building’s restroom. Thankfully, the accident has not resulted in any major injuries, although a 25-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman reported experiencing pain afterward.
After the crash, all involved members were conscious and breathing. No pedestrians were part of the incident. Although authorities are still investigating the crash, they believe the actor was not under the influence at the time. Bystanders observed the actor on the phone near the crash as they assessed the damage. Ruck appeared to be uninjured.
They have removed the truck since then. Furthermore, they are currently boarding up the building to repair the damages it sustained.
Ruck’s hit series Succession has just wrapped up its four-season run on HBO Max this past May. In addition, the actor recently appeared in the Amazon drama The Burial and has two films in the making, Crust and Wind River: Rising.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that a 32-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after the collision, and two other cars involved in the accident ended up in the middle of the intersection. The cause of the crash is not clear. The LAPD is investigating the accident.
