Megan Thee Stallion Dropping New Single ‘Cobra’
Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up to release a new single, “Cobra,” which will drop at midnight on November 3.
It is the rapper’s first independent single after parting ways and settling a lawsuit with former record label 1501 Certified Entertainment. According to People, since Megan has gone through the independent route, the new song will be released under Hot Girl Productions, a music and entertainment organization owned by the Stallion.
On October 23, the “Houston Hottie” teased the possibility of a new music video in a short clip. The time has officially come for the new single and visuals. She confirmed the drop date with a cover art post on X with the caption “COBRA THIS FRIDAY,” directing to a link to pre-save.

Megan shared her excitement for the single “Cobra” in a series of tweets, as she cannot wait for the “Hotties,” alluding to her fan base, to hear the new song. She has worked hard on the single and thanks her fans for their continuous support and this new era she is about to embark on.
“I’m so excited for the HOTTIES to hear #cobra ! Ya’ll are not gonna be able to guess what it sounds like so stop trying lol I spilled my guts on this song, I helped produce this song, I’m just so proud of it,” she stated, followed by a crying emoji.
