Olivia Rodrigo sent her fans buzzing with anticipation when she posted a TikTok on November 1, teasing the possibility of joining the new Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes film soundtrack.

In the video, she duetted with the movie trailer, holding up the iconic three-finger symbol frequently seen in the Hunger Games film series. This left her fans eager for more details.

The pop star skyrocketed to fame with the release of her album Sour back in 2021, right in the midst of the pandemic. Adding to the excitement, Rodrigo recently released her latest album GUTS this past September.

Fans were both shocked and thrilled to discover that she’s contributing to the soundtrack, infusing her signature pop-rock style into the song. Rodrigo made the official announcement on Instagram, unveiling her featured song in the movie trailer.
