Lori Harvey and Damson Idris Break Up After One Year
Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have officially called it quits after just one year of dating.
Rumors of a relationship between the SKN Founder and the Snowfall star began in December last year after they were seen departing a West Hollywood restaurant together.
In a joint statement exclusively shared with The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, Harvey and Idris expressed, “We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
The announcement of their separation came shortly after Harvey, 26, shared a celebratory Instagram for Idris’ 32nd birthday in September. “Happyyyy Birthdayyyy twinnn!!!! I love youuuu,” she wrote in an Instagram Story post.
In addition, the couple was spotted enjoying several vacations together. Shortly after making their relationship public, they took a trip to Turks and Caicos.
In a more recent event, just before the actor’s 32nd birthday, the couple went on a brief trip to Disneyland together.
In August of 2022, the skincare mogul opened up to Teyana Taylor in an interview for Bumble about her dating expectations.
Lori is reminded by Teyana of the numerous conversations they’ve shared over the course of their friendship mentioning, “You know we have deep conversations, and when we talk it is always from the perspective of women to women not telling you what you should do how you should do it, especially since we are two different ages.”
When inquired about the elements that empower her in a relationship, Harvey states, “Not compromising my values, my standards, and my requirements. You’ve got to make sure you’re giving (your love) to the right person because when you start giving it to the wrong person it starts to drain you.”
The model has consistently been open about her romantic involvements. In 2016, Harvey was in a relationship with Dutch soccer player, Memphis Depay, leading to their engagement in 2017 and subsequent separation in 2018.
Following this, there were rumors of her dating Trey Songz before she began a relationship with rapper, Future, in January 2020. Their relationship ended in August after an eight-month period, and shortly after, Harvey gained attention for her relationship with Michael B. Jordan in November 2020.
However, Jordan and Harvey parted ways in June 2022, and the rest, as they say, is her story.
