Keke Palmer is Awarded Full Custody of Her Son After Abuse Allegations
Keke Palmer has been granted full custody of her eight-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton, after filing a restraining order against Darius Jackson.
According to TMZ, Palmer “has submitted security camera footage as part of her request for a restraining order against her ex, Darius Jackson … which allegedly shows him physically assaulting her in her home.”
She recently sought a restraining order against Jackson, claiming she experienced multiple incidents of physical violence, the latest occurring as recently as this past Sunday.
A source close to Keke Palmer tells TMZ that Darius Jackson entered her home on that Sunday and began verbally abusing Palmer while she was on the phone with her mother, Sharon Palmer. The source reveals that Sharon Palmer made the threat involving the bullet due to her concern for her daughter’s safety. Unable to be physically present to safeguard Palmer, her mother felt compelled to issue the warning.
TMZ recently obtained documents revealing that Palmer is now presenting footage she alleges was recorded in February 2022. In the video, Jackson is seen “choking” her and “body-slamming” her onto the stairs. This incident reportedly occurred when he became “violently jealous and irrationally angry” over a bikini picture.
People Magazine shared that in reaction to the urgent filing, the Los Angeles County judge approved a temporary restraining order. The order mandates that Jackson maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from both the actress and their son and any childcare or schooling arrangements made for the child.
In addition to awarding Palmer temporary sole physical and legal custody of Leodis, the temporary restraining order specifies that Jackson is prohibited from having visitation with his son. A hearing scheduled for December 5 will determine the next steps regarding the temporary arrangement.
On Thursday, Palmer posted a video on Instagram, claiming she had spoken to Sarunas Jackson about his brother more than a year ago.
“For Sarunas Jackson to post on his Twitter the ridiculous stuff that he’s posted, when he knew his brother was abusive…” she mentioned to the camera. “I went to Sarunas over a year ago,” she claimed in the video, “and told him that his brother was abusive to my daughter, and he said, ‘Well, I used to be like that too.’”
Palmer’s mother continued, “So now he’s posting on Twitter like he’s this special guy, when we know he’s the biggest fuckboy in Hollywood; he’s disrespectful to women just like his little brother.” Sarunas, alleged, “taught his brother how to be abusive. So he don’t get to act like he’s this special guy. No. You’re a f*ckboy, and you’re part of the problem.”
In the post’s caption, Sharon Palmer wrote, “I dare you , mess with my family. family means everything to me ! you and your family act like sociopaths and like the world can’t see it. you are phony ! and i saw you from day one , my daughter is kind and our family treated you with kindness and this is how you treat it. i won’t take this laying down anymore IM DONE !”
