Arii, the face of the viral Stan Twitter meme, shared the story of the night she took the iconic photos, in a new video on TikTok.

Have you ever seen this meme on Twitter before?

Or how about this one?

Back in 2016, Musical.ly sensation, Arii blew up on Twitter after posting photos of her in a “sassy pose” while holding a Michael Kors bag and wearing a white zip-up saying “Realist.” The meme keeps resurfacing on the internet years later, and fans are asking Arii to explain the backstory from that night.

TikTok user Noah Miller (@nmillz1) posed a question about what happened that night of one of stan Twitter’s beloved meme was created. Arii then stitched him, sharing her side of the story.

“I arrived,” Arii starts in a video uploaded to TikTok with the caption “yes im stan twitter meme girl.”

She revealed that there is no “huge backstory” to the photos uploaded when she was 15 years old.

“I deada** thought this pic was eating and I just wanted to take pictures and post them,” she stated.

Everyone was most likely getting ready to go out and Arii asked her best friend to snap a couple of photos of are. Don’t we all? These photos were in the “prime day of Arii” according to her so she had to “get that content out.”

“But I don’t know where I personally lost the plot and this became a meme of stan Twitter,” Arii continues.

However, she stated she “loves” that it’s become a meme. The reaction meme focuses on using a humorous picture to convey the public reaction to any original piece of content, notably within the entertainment and pop culture sphere, according to What’s Trending.

Will Arii recreate her infamous meme? Maybe even recreate one of her Musical.ly if we’re lucky?

Musical.ly was rebranded as TikTok when byte-dance bought it. Bytedance merged the users’ accounts on Musical.ly with TikTok, which was previously famous in China. This shift brought forward many new TikTok stars, replacing the people who used to be famous on Musical.ly.
