Another Tomorrow Releases New Regenerative Wool Collection for Sustainable Fashion
Another Tomorrow’s new sustainable fashion release spotlights a regenerative wool collection.
Considering Another Tomorrow is one of the world’s leading sustainable and ethically transparent fashion labels, it is no surprise that their wool capsule collection is regarded highly. The brand’s popularity thrives in consumer markets not only because of its eco-friendly agenda but also due to the elegant, structured styles of its pieces. Although the brand is on the pricier side for simpler-looking pieces, the quality speaks for itself.
The wool quality used to create the capsule collection comes directly from the animal. It is one of the few materials Another Tomorrow incorporates in their collection that originate from an animal. “To ensure they are treated with compassion and care, we created our own supply chain down to the farm level with standards exceeding the Responsible Wool Standard,” stated Another Tomorrow’s website.
Normalizing ethically sourced materials like wool can be difficult, especially when finding a farm that qualifies for The Responsible Wool Standards (RWS) certification. RWS has many requirements; however, one of the critical requirements is not slaughtering the sheep. This detail is essential because of the ages at which sheep are usually slaughtered: six to seven years old. At this age, the wool begins declining in quality. “Finding a sheep farm that went above and beyond RWS certification and did not routinely slaughter its stock wasn’t easy, and at times seemed impossible,” explained Another Tomorrow. Luckily, Another Tomorrow found two farms in Tasmania whose ethics in raising sheep match theirs.
The fashion label’s wool collection includes a classic cable-knit sweater with a slightly more exaggerated puff sleeve, a sweater and full-length skirt set, a sleek asymmetrical wrap shawl, and many more. There are no outlandish patterns or silhouettes that, more often than not, are worn once or twice and go out of season. Another Tomorrow’s styles reflect grace, elegance, sophistication, and longevity. Furthermore, you can wear the brand proudly, knowing the materials used cause minimal environmental impact and are ethically sourced.
Another Tomorrow’s regenerative wool capsule is available on the brand’s website. If you’re an eco-friendly fashion lover aiming to have a limited capsule wardrobe with quality pieces, this brand is for you. Check out this new collection on their website.
