Tyra Banks Glows in Makeup-Free Photos To Celebrate 50th Birthday

Tyra Banks turned 50 and marked the huge milestone by snapping make-up-free photos and sharing them on her Instagram on Monday, December 4.

The former supermodel celebrated the big day with a reflective post, marking her 50th birthday, being “Fiercer Than Ever.” The former Dancing With the Stars host and judge on America’s Next Top Model reflects on aging and not limiting herself in her career.

In the series of carousel photos shared via Instagram, Banks poses on the couch, feeling cozy in a gray robe, behind a black, white, and gold art-themed cake.

“50. I can’t believe I’ve been on this earth that many years,” the model revealed. “I remember like yesterday my mom’s 50th birthday party and we celebrated her in the biggest way. It was a big one. And now it’s mine.”

“So many fear getting older,” Banks continued. “That’s understandable. Things just aren’t the same anymore. Our bodies. Our energy. Our minds.” Additionally, the former top model feels that she is wiser and that milestones should make one feel “I get to be that age” and take it as a blessing.

Meanwhile, Banks reminded her followers that reaching 50 “feels d*mn good,” and she hopes some of the younger ones can reach that age.

The Saggitarius and Smize queen, additionally, expressed to her followers that they “don’t have to stay stuck.”

“You can start off doing one thing, and as the years go by, you switch that ish up,” she stated. “Yeah, I started in the fashion world and did the whole magazine covers, catwalks and couture thing and more, but I pivoted, baby, again.” Before letting her followers know they can too, “Can’t stop. Won’t stop. You hear me?!”
