A24 has sealed a streaming pact with Warner Bros. Discovery, ensuring exclusive access to their cinematic masterpieces on HBO, Max, and Cinemax.

In a press release on Wednesday, December 6, the company announced that the beloved indie film studio will become a part of the Warner Bros. Discovery platforms, including its latest films, after the end of their theatrical run.

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition,” EVP of content acquisitions at Warner Bros. Discovery, Royce Battleman, stated. “The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”

Among the films are Sofia Coppola’s Elvis Presley biopic, Priscilla; the Nicolas Cage comedy, Dream Scenario; and The Iron Claw (hitting screens on December 22), a story centered on the real-life of the Von Erich brothers (by Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White), who became history in professional wrestling during the 1980s. Furthermore, Dicks: The Musical, Love Lies Bleeding, The Zone of Interest, and Stop Making Sense.

Additionally, A24 has signed an extended licensing deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, releasing A24’s archives onto Max, HBO, and Cinemax. This extension includes over 100 titles, featuring iconic films like the Academy Award-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once, the Adam Sandler thriller Uncut Gems, The Whale, and Past Lives.

A24’s recent multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery comes after the expiration of its prior contract with Showtime earlier this year, which took place back in 2019.

Meanwhile, A24 is producing a biopic on the X CEO Elon Musk, with the creative lead of Darren Aronofsky, who is behind Black Swan and The Whale. You can stream all of the films here.
