Beyoncé Debuts ‘Grown Woman’ Music Video in Honor of Anniversary
Beyoncé has released “Grown Woman” on streaming platforms, celebrating the 10th anniversary of her self-titled surprise album drop.
Bey is back again. No, it’s not another tour announcement, at least not yet. The “Break My Soul” singer is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her 2016 self-titled visual album today, released on December 13, 2013.
It’s a big day for the Beyhive, as fans can now stream “Grown Woman” on streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, Soundcloud, and more.

The fifth studio album included a two-part visual, “Part 1. The Visual Album,” and “Part 2. Imperfection.” The making of the visual album stems from childhood memories and “thoughts about life” that tie into the music. “I think it’s one of the reasons why I wanted to do a visual album,” she revealed.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé shocked fans ten years ago by releasing the album with no announcement. The self-titled album featured 14 songs, with singles that included “Drunk in Love,” “XO,” and “Partition” off the fifth studio album.
Beyoncé shared a montage of clips that highlights behind-the-scenes footage, glimpses of past music videos, and the creative process of the visual art on Instagram.
According to Rolling Stone, “Grown Woman” was at the center of advertising for Pepsi commercials. In the commercial, Beyoncé looks back at her past self and outdances herself. One user on X shared a clip of the Pepsi commercial and expressed excitement over the latest news. “Beyoncé has finally released ‘Grown Woman’ on streaming platforms! WE DID IT,” the user mentioned.
