Wes Anderson has been as busy as any filmmaker the past few years, as his newest film will hit production in 2024 and star Bill Murray, Michael Cera, and Benicio Del Toro, according to Deadline.

Anderson recently released a series of Roald Dahl-inspired Netflix short films, such as The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, The Swan, The Poison, and The Rat Catcher. He also released the 2023 feature Asteroid City, which had a large ensemble cast, though the three stars of his newest film did not participate in the film.

Del Toro has appeared in only one Anderson film, The French Dispatch, portraying convict artist Moses Rosenthaler. However; this will be Michael Cera’s first collaboration with Anderson. Murray has appeared in multiple Anderson films, varying in large or miniature roles. He has given stand-out performances in all of them.

Judging from the large ensembles in Anderson’s past films, it’s to be expected that more big names will join the project in the coming months. Anderson has written the script with his co-writer, Roman Coppola. Coppola has assisted Anderson with many projects, including The Darjeeling UnlimitedMoonrise KingdomIsle of Dogs, and moreHe is the son of legendary filmmaker Frances Ford Coppola.
