Reneé Rapp Shows Megan Thee Stallion Love During New Mean Girls Press Tour
Mean Girls star Reneé Rapp wastes no time adding Tory Lanez’s name to her Burn Book as she shows her support for Megan Thee Stallion.
In July 2020, Lanez was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, while Megan was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her foot. This incident fueled speculation about the events leading to the arrest and the details captured in the security footage.

Stallion later addressed the trauma she experienced from the incident, facing backlash from trolls and fellow rapper fans once she identified Lanez as her shooter.
Fast forward to August 2023, and the “Say It” rapper received a 10-year sentence without the possibility of parole. His charges include discharging a firearm with gross negligence, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in the vehicle, and assault with a semiautomatic firearm. In the aftermath, Megan Thee Stallion released songs like “Anxiety” and “Cobra,” where she candidly discussed her mental health and how she’s been treated in the media and the rap world over the past three years.
In her latest release, “Cobra,” Stallion raps, “Breaking down, and I had the whole world watching” and “Yes, I’m very depressed. How can somebody so blessed want to s*** their wrist?” Since the song’s November 2023 debut, both peers and fans, known as The Hotties, have rallied in support of Megan.
In a recent ExtraTV interview, actress and singer Reneé Rapp expressed her support for Thee Stallion, stating, “She’s the coolest. I like a true, true Meg supporter, and I hate that other man. So, I love Megan Thee Stallion. I love her. And if anybody tries her when it comes to that sorry a** man, it’s a do-or-die fight for me.”
Rapp recently collaborated musically with the rapper on “Not My Fault,” part of the Mean Girls Musical soundtrack. The song has garnered 10 million streams across all platforms. The Mean Girls musical film hits theaters on January 12.
