New Reports of Jacob Elordi’s Alleged Assault in Australia Circulate
Jacob Elordi is under investigation after new reports of physically assaulting a radio producer who made a Saltburn reference.
Trigger Warning: This story features descriptions of alleged physical assault.
While outside the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney, Australia, Jacob Elordi was approached by radio producer Joshua Fox of The Kyle & Jackie O Show on KIIS FM. On Monday’s episode, he recalled asking for some of his bath water to gift Jackie in reference to a shocking scene from the film Saltburn, featuring costar, Barry Keoghan. Elordi was caught off guard but quickly realized Fox was recording the interaction on his phone, and asked Fox to delete the footage. But Fox refused to delete the video as it showed him being cornered into the wall by Elordi and the two men accompanying him.
On The Kyle & Jackie O Show, he explained, “I reused to [delete the video] because I feel uncomfortable right now, and this is the only evidence.” He continued “and then Jacob kind of flips and pushes me against the wall, and his hands are on my throat.” The New South Wales Police told Variety in a statement the incident is under investigation.

The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing.”
Elordi’s representatives have yet to provide any comments.
This occurrence has fostered online conversation regarding how paparazzi fail to respect famous individuals in public. Many commentators note Elordi was sexually assaulted through Fox’s comments and applaud him for defending himself. One X user wrote, “‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show’ is one of the creepiest, most unpleasant shows on air. There should be a blanket restraining order on anyone involved in that show.”
Elordi’s career is reaching new heights as he stars in acclaimed films, such as Priscilla and Saltburn. He is also nominated in the Best Supporting Actor and Rising Star Award categories for the BAFTA Film Awards. Fans can look forward to seeing Elordi in upcoming films such as Oh, Canada, directed by Paul Schrader, and Dr. Frankenstein, directed by Guillermo del Toro.
