Beyoncé teases her highly anticipated hair care brand, Cécred, on Instagram.

Beyoncé is no stranger to wearing many hats when it comes to her career endeavors. Now, she can add CEO to her already impressive résumé. The thirty-two-time Grammy winner teased her new hair care brand, Cécred, via her Instagram page this Tuesday.

In the post, a montage of home videos is projected onto a white sheet in an otherwise empty room. The first image is the inside of a salon with neon lights that read “Headliners La Mode Hair Salon,” which Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, opened in 1990 in Houston, Texas.

Clips of individuals with various hair textures tending to their hair are interspersed with continuing visuals of the salon and its patrons. In another non-archival clip, Beyoncé gazes into the camera as her hair is washed. The last video from the projection shows a younger Beyoncé and her mother, Tina, dressed to the nines in evening wear.

The “Halo” singer first teased the brand back in May 2023 on her Instagram. In the post, she wrote: “How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for our clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.”

She continues “I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture our hair and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Another video posted to the Cécred account shows the media frenzy from fans when this post made waves last year. “Obviously, I grew up in my mother’s hair salon,” Beyoncé stated in the intro. The background music sounds similar in style to many of the tracks off the songstress’ last effort, Renaissance, released July 29, 2022. The video simply ends with the date of February 20 and the brand’s name.

Though little is known about what specific products will be dropping on this date, fans go here to sign up for email updates.
