‘Snooze’ by SZA Returns to the Top 5 on Hot 100 After Grammy Win and Performance
After the Grammy Awards, SZA’s hit song “Snooze” from her second debut album, SOS, rose to the Top 5 on the Hot 100 two years after its initial release.
On February 4, at the 66 Annual Grammy Awards, SZA gave the audience an iconic performance at the Crypto.com Arena. Following the act, her music moved back to the top of the charts after being viewed by millions on TV.

SZA was the most nominated artist at the Grammy’s this year, with an astounding total of nine nominations. The categories included: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, R&B Song, Urban Contemporary Album, Song, Album, Record, Melodic Rap Performance, R&B Performance, and Traditional R&B Performance.
With three wins, she took home the trophy for a third of the categories. She won Best R&B Song for her hit “Snooze,” Best Progressive R&B Album SOS, as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost in the Machine,” a collab with Phoebe Bridgers, all very well-deserved.

The singer raised her amount of Grammy wins to a total of 4 after winning for the first time in 2022 for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat.
Securing several chart-topping hits, 2022 and 2023 were huge years for her album SOS. In 2022, the album spent ten consecutive weeks at no. 1 in the Billboard Top 200, while her single “Kill Bill” spent 21 weeks on top. Currently, the artist’s song “Snooze” has spent 60 weeks on the chart. So, it is no surprise that new and current fans are streaming her music, beating out top songs.
