Selena Gomez is back and announced that she will release a music video for her new single, “Love On,” on February 22.

On February 21, Gomez posted a teaser trailer for her new music video. The opening displays seven couples embracing on a staircase as a voice narrates in French, panning the camera to Gomez. The singer is in a pink dress with a black bow in her hair, holding a dog in her arms. It ends with Gomez lying on a green couch in a black dress. Above her is a matching painting of her pose on the wall. She captioned the video, “‘Love On’ premieres tomorrow at 3 pm PT/ 6 pm ET/ Midnight CET,” with a heart emoji. The cinematography and color contrast of the video adds a capturing and intriguing image for the viewer.

“Love On” follows the release of Selena Gomez’s previous single, “Single Soon,” which came out in August. Additionally, “Single Soon” is an anthem about Gomez embracing her individuality and independence, leaving many fans excited for this new era of music.

Nowadays, Gomez is busy in the public eye with her hit series, Only Murders in the Building. The Hulu drama has aired three seasons and scored a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition, she is working on and promoting her successful makeup line, Rare Beauty. However, new music garners excitement from fans as her last album, Rare, was released in 2020. Two years after Rare, Gomez collaborated with the singer Rema on the song “Calm Down.”

The artist promoted her new song and music video with photos in Paris, France. On Instagram, she struts in front of the Eiffel Tower and enjoys croissants and coffee in a collection of photos. Gomez seems to hint that Paris will be the theme of her new video.
