SAG Awards 2024: A Look Into This Year’s Finest Fashion
The always star-studded SAG Awards celebrated 30 years at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Stars from every corner of film and television geared up to recognize the year’s best performances, but first, they hit the carpet in their finest looks. Check out our favorites below.
Margot Robbie
Hi Margot. The Barbie actress donned an adorable Schiaparelli couture mini black dress with a pink train falling at one side. Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Robbie paired the look with black pointed-toe pumps, sleek waves, and a matching pink gel manicure.
Ariana Greenblatt
Margot’s onscreen rival, Ariana Greenblatt, stunned in a velvet burgundy custom Vera Wang gown. The gown featured a bodycon bodice and flowed into a gorgeous, voluminous gown. For her glam, Greenblatt went for a monochromatic look with brown lipliner and nude lipstick.
Ryan Gosling
He’s just Ryan Gosling, rounding out the Barbie cast’s looks. Gosling wore a light blue Gucci suit with white trim on the lapel. Instead of a tie, the Best Supporting Actor nominee wore his white shirt unbuttoned – exuding major Kenergy. Can you feel it?
Selena Gomez
We’re loving on Selena Gomez’s look. The Only Murders in the Building actress walked the carpet in a mermaid-style custom pearl Atelier Versace gown. Her mauve eyeshadow and nude lip perfectly fit the dress, with her combed-back blowout completing the full package.
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody
Although their Y2K characters are the least likely pairing, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody couldn’t be a cuter couple. They stepped out for a date night, both wearing custom St. John. Brody wore a navy blue suit with a black button-down shirt underneath. As for Meester, she had a floor-length brown gown with a softly swept updo, complete with face-framing wispies.
Ayo Edebiri
Yes, chef. Ayo Edebiri simply never misses. She stepped out in a black and white Luar dress with black strappy heels. Edebiri took her sweet look to the stage to accept the award for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work in Hulu’s The Bear.
Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway stepped straight off a plane and onto the SAG Awards carpet, but you would never notice. Hathaway worked closely with stylist Erin Walsh on an Atelier Versace gown that paid tribute to the film The Devil Wears Prada, which reunited at this year’s awards. “We wanted to take it back and throw a bit of a curveball—how about a little nod of archive cerulean blue Versace on the occasion of her presenting with some old friends?” Walsh told The Hollywood Reporter.
Tyler James Williams
Blue seems to be the color of the night on the men’s side. Abbott Elementary’s Tyler James Williams, who usually tops the men’s best-dressed list, wore a sparkly powdered blue Amiri suit with a matching fishnet top underneath. Ilaria Urbinati styled Williams and paired the look with simple jewelry from Aequa & Co.
Ciara
Ciara, nominated for her role in The Color Purple, turned heads in her breathtaking brown Venus Prototypex latex gown. Her dress featured a turtleneck neckline, cinching at the waist, then expanding into a slit with brown pointed-toe stilettos. The “Like a Boy” singer’s hair flowed with her chandelier earrings and a slew of bangles.
Maddie Ziegler
Although she’s still new to the film scene, Maddie Ziegler has given major “Fashion It-Girl” energy over the last few years. The Fitting In star wore a rare 2003 Alexander McQueen dress. Stylist Jared Ellner paired her gown with white platform heels and neutral glam, complete with her flowy brunette blowout.
The 2024 award show season has been nothing short of glamorous, fashion-forward outfits for the fashion history books, and the SAG Awards are no exception. Catch up on the 2024 SAG Awards on Netflix.
