Tate McRae, announced as the final performer at the 2024 Brit Awards, is also nominated for International Song of the Year for “Greedy.”

McRae is the last performer to be announced for this year’s Brit Awards. The program will also have the following musicians: Dua Lipa, Raye, Kylie Moinigue, Rema, and Jungle. There will also be joint performances by Becky Hill and Chase and Status, as well as Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding.

McRae told Brit Awards, “I’m so excited to be returning to London for my first BRIT Awards! It is the biggest honor to be performing on the iconic BRITs stage. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”

The “You Broke Me First” singer has been making large impacts in the music industry with her song, “Greedy,” charting number 1 on the global Spotify chart back in November of 2023. As well as her viral NHL All-star Intermission performance where she performed her songs: “So Well,” “Kisses,” “Never Be Us,” and “Just Know Me.” This performance currently has 1.5 million views on YouTube. McRae is also about to start her Think Later World Tour in April. She will be touring in Europe, the UK, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Canadian Singer-Songwriter and dancer released her first hit single “You Broke Me First” in 2020. The song went viral on TikTok when it was released and has since received a 3x platinum RIAA certification. Since then the single has also surpassed over 2 billion streams since 2020.

The “Greedy” singer is currently twenty years old, but her career started much earlier. At age 13, she became the first Canadian finalist to appear on the thirteenth season of the TV series So You Think You Can Dance in 2016. Eventually, she released her first EP, All the Things I Never Said, in 2020. The same year, she was also featured in Forbes 30 Under 30, making her the youngest musician to make this list. McRae has since gone on to release two albums so far: I Used to Think I Could Fly (2022) and Think Later (2023).
