Abbott Elementary Announces New Season 3 Guest Stars Including Bradley Cooper and More
Abbott Elementary will introduce a robust slate of guest stars to its third season, including Lana Condor and Keegan-Michael Key.
Abbott Elementary, created by Quinta Brunson, captured the hearts of many with its humorous yet grounded depictions of working in a predominantly Black school. On March 11, it was announced that numerous guest stars were joining the phenomenal cast for the remainder of its third season.

Lana Condor, Keegan-Michael Key, Cree Summer, Tatyana Ali, and Karan Soni will be featured in upcoming episodes. Little is known about how each actor will be worked into the program, but Summer will make her Abbott Elementary debut on the season’s seventh episode titled “Librarian.” IMDB detailed the synopsis: “Janine spearheads a pilot program that brings a librarian to Abbott; Melissa and Jacob deal with some big changes at home.”
Season 3 has already offered exciting guest appearances, including Philadelphia Eagles players Jalen Hurts, Brandon Graham, and Jason Kelce. Bradley Cooper appeared as himself in a special episode after the 96 Academy Awards. Other actors who have joined the 15-time Primetime Emmy-nominated sitcom include Taraji P. Henson, Ayo Edebiri, Vince Staples, and Leslie Odom Jr.

Abbott Elementary follows Jeanine Teagues, an optimistic second-grade teacher who takes pride in her school and will go to great lengths to improve it. The mockumentary-style program provides an unfiltered look into the day-to-day happenings at the school and the lives of its teachers. Tyler James Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, and William Stanford Davis round out the ensemble.
Also, the sitcom has been met with great acclaim, raking in various award show nominations such as six Golden Globes, seven People’s Choice Awards, and 18 NAACP Image Awards. In 2022, Quinta Bruson won the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Primetime Emmy. Sheryl Lee Ralph won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Primetime Emmy, becoming the first Black woman to receive the award in 35 years.
In 2023, Abbott Elementary won three Golden Globes. Brunson won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Television Series, and Williams won Best Supporting Actor in a Musical or Comedy Television Series. The program also won the Best Musical or Comedy Television Series award.
Abbott Elementary airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC and is available on Hulu for next-day streaming.
