The bestselling author Amor Towles is also the creator of A Gentleman in Moscow and Rules of Civility. His three novels have sold over six million copies, and his books have been translated into upwards of 30 languages. The Lincoln Highway was on The New York Times bestseller list for over 30 weeks. The author was born in Boston, Massachusetts, graduated from Yale University, and got an MA in English from Stanford University.
Long story short I have to say Amor Towles is kind of an unbelievable writer. I read A Gentleman in Moscow and thought it was as good as it gets and then read The Lincoln Highway and found out it gets considerably better. Bravo to that guy. Really quite something. @amortowles

On the other hand, Storer has made a strong career for himself. With his critically acclaimed project, The Bear, he earned three Emmys and an extensive fan base. Not only is he the director of the show, but he is also the creator and one of the writers.
Another important name on the project is four-time Oscar nominee David Heyman. The British film producer is involved in other notable projects like Barbie, Wonka, Paddington, the Harry Potter series, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Marriage Story.
I think somebody should interview Christopher Storer and pick his brain to find out how and why The Bear is so good. I really wish he could’ve accepted all those Emmy’s just so we could hear him talk

The adaptation was part of an announcement by Warner Bros. with a couple of other release dates and changes. For example, Batman 2 is getting pushed forward a year, from October 2025 to October 2026, Alto Knights, directed by Robert De Niro, is releasing in March 2025 instead of November of this year, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s film with Leonardo DiCaprio will have a summer release on August 8, 2025.
Warner Bros. already has a solid team to contribute to the project. Other producers include Emmy Award winner Tyson Bidner, who produced The Whale. Josh Senior and Cooper Wehde produced The Bear next to Storer. Lastly, Jeff Clifford produced Paddington next to Heyman.
Because of Towles’ success, his novel A Gentleman in Moscow is being adapted for a TV series produced by Paramount for Paramount+ and Showtime. The cast includes Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Leah Harvey.
You can stream the first episode of A Gentleman in Moscow at the end of March on Paramount+.
