Anticipation Mounts: Euphoria Season Three Confirmation and What Lies Ahead
Season three of Euphoria has officially been confirmed. After Euphoria ended in early 2022, fans eagerly awaited news on when the next season would be released.
Variety announced that Euphoria was HBO’s second most-watched TV show next to Game of Thrones. In addition, the drama hit with its final episode in Season 2, drawing 6.6 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max.
The Euphoria Season 2 premiere’s viewership is approaching 19 million viewers in the U.S.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, filmings were delayed, and while there was hope for season three to release in early 2023, that did not happen.
So, when will season three be released?

The HBO drama is confirmed to air in early 2025.
Francesca Orsi, Vice President of HBO programming, asserted, “‘We can’t start shooting,’ ‘So the delivery of that show — ideally in 2025 — will be determined on when we can pick back up with Sam, who at this point is just finishing on The Idol.'”
Writing has been delayed because of the writer’s strike and the sudden and tragic death of Kevin Turen. Turen founded Little Lamb Productions with Sam and Ashley Levinson, which produced The Idol and Euphoria.
The cast for season 3 is set to be the same as before.
Stars: Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Nika King, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams are expected to participate in the upcoming season. However, HBO has not officially confirmed this.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Barbie Ferreira spoke about why her character was featured less in season two. “There’s a huge cast,” she told the outlet then. “So, we’ll see everyone. Everyone gets their time.”

After the cliffhanger ending of the season two finale, we are left with many questions. Many events unfolded, and fans are curious to see what will happen next. There is no trailer for season three, and we don’t expect to see one anytime soon.
