The Eras Tour debuted in Glendale, Arizona, on March 17, 2023. With a setlist of 44 songs (plus some surprises) and an average runtime of three and a half hours, fans were immersed in all ten of Taylor Swift’s studio albums. Swift struck awe in audiences with elaborate sets, multiple costume changes, creative choreography, and surprise acoustic versions of two random songs from her discography. It’s safe to say fans were wowed.

As the first United States leg progressed, Swift gave jaw-dropping performances each weekend. Like snowflakes, no two shows looked the same. She constantly rotated her surprise songs, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Occasionally, she would bring out a special guest to perform the surprises with her. Some of these guests include Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons, opener Gracie Abrams, and producer Jack Antonoff.

The Eras Tour isn’t just for American fans, though. So far, Swift has brought her show to Latin America, Asia, and Australia. She’ll perform for Europe in a few months, then close it all with nine Canadian shows in November. Swifties worldwide will get a chance to enjoy the artistry of the Eras Tour.

Let’s talk accolades. On opening night, Taylor Swift broke the record for the most attended concert by a female artist with an estimated 69,000 tickets sold, according to Bustle. And she continues to break venue attendance records at multiple stadiums worldwide. Before it was halfway finished, the Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time, surpassing Elton John. According to Pollstar, it generated 1.04 billion dollars in gross ticket sales by the end of 2023. And by the end of this year, it’s projected to create another billion.
