Additionally, this is Tiller’s first release since his album Anniversary four years ago, released on the fifth anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut album Trapsoul. Anniversary reached Number 4 on Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Number 5 on the Billboard 200. Offering a sneak peek into what the album holds, Tiller shared a preview of his single “Calypso.”
In November, the addition of “Whatever She Wants” to his SoundCloud-exclusive Slum Tiller series, released on “Tiller Tuesdays,” further solidified his musical prowess. Moreover, “Whatever She Wants” also earned Tiller his first top 10 on the Hot Rap Songs chart when it debuted at Number 8 earlier this month (it has since reached Number 5).
The album is poised to reflect Tiller’s artistic growth and authenticity, promising a deeply personal narrative.
