Cara Delevingne Multi-Million Dollar Home up in Flames
Cara Delevingne discovered her Los Angeles Studio City home burnt down to the ground after being engulfed in flames while she was in London for work.
The supermodel’s home was destroyed in the early hours of March 15, during her time in London’s West End, for her performance of “Cabaret.” The firefighters of Los Angeles responded to the emergency around 4 in the morning, unfortunately not before all of her valuables were demolished.
According to fire officials, it took 94 firefighters two hours and sixteen minutes to put out the flames, leaving one fireman hospitalized from minor smoke inhalation.

Delevingne informed her Instagram followers of the tragic loss in her story, writing, “My heart is broken today.” She continued her post with a thankful recognition of all the firefighters who responded to the scene. The English actress proceeded with the eye-opening message: “I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”
Fortunately, both of Delevingne’s adorable cats survived the fire, which she informed the public of on Instagram. An unidentified resident of the house was also present, who is said to have only sustained minor smoke insulation.

Delevingne’s parents, Pandora and Charles Delevingne revealed that the fire was electrical. According to E News, Pandora talks about her daughter’s 6,650-square-foot two-story home, stating, “She had everything in her house—her whole life. She built it. She made it.”
The 7.8 million dollar home, built in 1971, was previously featured in Architectural Digest, where Delevingne describes her personalized residents as her “playground.” The house had a ball pit, a poker room, a costume room, two trampolines, and many more enjoyment-filled features.
Delevingne truly sculpted the property to showcase her personality, shown in the feature when she states, “The big crystal chandelier in the living room wasn’t exactly my thing, so we put a disco ball in the middle of it and added colored lights. All of a sudden it feels like me.”
Although this was a heartbreaking incident, it can inspire people to cherish everything in life because, as Delevingne expressed, life can change in the blink of an eye.
