Glass Animals Teases New Music
After a long time away from the music scene, indie pop band Glass Animals has returned. Could fans be getting new music soon?
It has been nearly four years since we last heard from the psychedelic indie pop band, Glass Animals. They have been absent on social media, posting occasionally. As of March 21, they have returned to social media, deleting all their posts except one.
The video features some of the sounds from a possible upcoming album. It builds until the end and eventually zooms into lead singer Dave Bayley’s face. Bayley is wearing a pair of headphones as a single tear slides down his face. The band captured the post with a simple “incoming…” hinting at what may be a new project.
The video, the group’s social media pages, and the website are all space-themed. Fans have been predicting a space-themed album for a long time now, and just a few days before the video was posted, the band was sharing fan theories from Reddit on their Instagram story.
The group is known for their hit track “Heat Waves,” which appeared on their album Dreamland. This album was the last piece of music that the band released, and it dropped in 2020. It has been nearly four years since they have released anything, and needless to say, fans are excited.
