Drake Bell opened up in a TikTok video that “In The End,” an older song from his debut album Telegraph, references lyrics relating to his sexual abuse.

Bell recently came out about his sexual abuse in a shocking fashion in the recent documentary series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV now streaming on MAX. The former child star explained how Brian Peck, a convicted child sex predator, sexually assaulted Bell while working on The Amanda Show.

He recently posted a video with the phrase, “Wrote this song when I was 15 about what happened before I said anything to anyone,” over him listening to the track.

Bell’s claim to fame started with Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show but received his own series along with Josh Peck in Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh. Dan Schneider was the creator for both television series. Drake & Josh was a massive hit, and today is still enjoyed by many on Netflix. He also went on to star in the live-action A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!

Bell started a music career and released his debut album in 2005, where the track “In The End” resurfaced from his video. His sixth album, Nonstop Fight, is set to release this year.

The song’s standout lyrics are: “And where have you been since it’s been over? Over my shoulder under my skin, Will you ever return again?”

“The monsters in your head have left you all to yourself, It’s alright if ugly little things remind you of how it felt,”

“Another day gone without a say, But it’s okay if you turn away, And feel the memories bringin’ you down.”

After sharing his story, he has received support from fans and former cast members, including former co-star Peck. His relationship with Bell has been questioned ever since the series ended, therefore fans saw great meaning to Peck’s support of Bell.

Bell will speak more on his troubling experience in Hollywood, as a fifth episode of Quiet on Set will air on April 7. The series is currently streaming on MAX.
