Influencer, musician, and new father Cody Ko will be releasing new music on April 5.

Popular internet personality Cody Kolodziejzyk, otherwise known as Cody Ko, went on Instagram to announce a new single. In the post, he tagged fellow artist and rapper Young Nut, who will be featured.

While this may take some viewers by surprise, Kolodziejzyk is not new to the music game by any means. Some may recognize him as a member of the musical group Tiny Meat Gang, a duo that also involves internet personality and comedian Noel Miller. The two often make YouTube videos together and have garnered tons of views from their content.

Tiny Meat Gang has had a fairly successful track record, including songs featuring artists like blackbear and bbno$. Listeners may know some of their discography, which features songs such as “short kings anthem,” “Walk Man,” “Broke B*tch,” and “Washed.”

Ko has recently been trying his hand at the DJing game, releasing songs like “Not Going Home,” “Moderation,” and “Bop It” remixes. He has also performed DJ sets for live audiences. The announcement of his new song, “Nightmare,” has loyal watchers and listeners on the edge of their seats to see what he has planned next.

His promotion method has been nothing short of comical, which is nothing new. On April 3, he took to social media with a video. He references a prior post, which contained the caption, “i know jojo siwa is dropping on the 5th as well but if you wouldnt mind also listening to our song we’d really appreciate it.” Siwa, who recently went viral for her upcoming song “Karma,” commented on the post, “Karma’s a nightmare.”

The response from Siwa is probably a reference to her own single, which is dropping on the same day, but Ko joked that it was a “threat,” responding that he had thrown his back out on the same day Siwa commented on his post. There is no bad blood between the two, but the video response is hilarious and creates traction surrounding both Siwa and Ko’s new music.
