Colourpop Releases Enchanting New Beauty and the Beast Collection
It’s your chance to become the Belle of the Ball, as Colourpop recently announced their newest collection, a collaboration with Beauty and the Beast. The cosmetic collaboration takes on the tale as old as time in various products that aim to celebrate your inner beauty.
Kicking off the collection is the eyeshadow palette. Formulated with their signature pressed powder formula, the palette ($22) contains 12 mattes and shimmers, featuring a mix of pale pinks, golds, and light blues.
Next up are their pressed powder blushes ($14). Colourpop has the blush game on lock with their pigmented yet buildable formula that lasts all day. For the Beauty and the Beast collection, the brand is releasing a soft pink and cinnamon shade, pairing well with the shadows in the new palette. Not to mention, the packaging features Mrs. Potts and Chip from the film.
Finishing off the cheeks is the beloved Super Shock highlighter ($15). Keeping in the scheme with the rest of the collection, this highlighter is a luminous gold shade that tops off that pink or brown blush while giving you that healthy, lit-from-within glow.
Of course, no look is complete without the lips, and Colourpop has you completely covered. Before you apply the liner and gloss, you must prep your lips with a good mask. Their new rose-flavored lip mask ($12) is formulated with Vitamin E and squalene for deep hydration and comes in a rose-shaped jar, paying homage to the film’s “everlasting rose.”
Last in the collection are the Lux Lipstick and Ultra Glossy Lip Duos ($18). The Great Adventure lip kit features the shades Not So Odd for the Lux Lipstick and Bookworm for the Ultra Glossy. On the other hand, Break the Spell’s lip kit contains the Lux Lipstick in the shade Last Petal and Kind & Gentle for the Ultra Glossy, which are warm brown shades, perfect for a neutral look.
The lip kits aren’t only good for your lips but are also nice to look at since roses are embedded throughout the stick itself. In fact, the entire collection’s packaging exudes opulence. Consumers can expect window-esque drawings combined with character portraits on the products, without going overboard.
From High School Musical to The Nightmare Before Christmas, Colourpop always hits the nail on the head when putting a twist on our favorite pop culture phenomena.
Colourpop’s Beauty and the Beast collection hits their website on April 18 at 10:00 A.M. PT.
