Meghan Trainor to Release New Single ‘To the Moon’
Meghan Trainor has officially announced her next single, “To the Moon,” coming May 3. This is the third single from her upcoming album, Timeless.
On April 23, Trainor took to Instagram to share some exciting news with her fans.
The post included a special caption from the artist stating, “Wait for the DROP. #ToTheMoon #Timeless.” The video also features the singer wearing makeup, and curlers and transitioning to a clip of her in full glam and a gorgeous outfit, presumably in a green room. The song includes saxophone, a heavy bass drop, and the line, “My love is gonna take you to the moon.”
The announcement of this song comes on the heels of Trainor’s news about her upcoming album, Timeless, which will be released on June 14. There’s no doubt that the new single, “To the Moon” will make for a perfect addition to your beach, pool, and road trip playlists.

This will be the “Woman Up” singer’s third release of the year. Her first single, “Been Like This” features T-Pain. Additionally, her second single, “Sweet Morning Heat,” was created with late-night show host Jimmy Fallon for Jerry Seinfeld’s movie Sweet Morning Heat.
The “All About That Bass” singer has been incredibly busy this year. She has been balancing her music career, motherhood, and her podcast, Workin’ On It. Additionally, she has announced her tour, “The Timeless Tour.” Trainor’s performances will begin in September in Cincinnati, OH, and end in October in Inglewood, CA.
