17 IS RIGHT HERE Releasing Official ‘LALALI’ Music Video
SEVENTEEN‘s hip-hop unit released a music video for their 17 IS RIGHT HERE track, “LALALI.” This is just the first of many coming from the K-pop group.
Weeks following SEVENTEEN’s “MAESTRO” comeback and compilation album release, the hip-hop unit delivered a music video for their song “LALALI” on May 9. Members S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon displayed a youthful, free-spirited energy throughout the video. In addition, the unit embodied the rebellious lifestyle associated with the Korean word “날라리,” which sounds similar to “lalali.”

“LALALI” is just one of four new songs in the 17 IS RIGHT HERE album. “MAESTRO,” “Spell,” and “Cheers to youth” are the other three. The rest of the compilation album consists of SEVENTEEN’s older hit songs from previous albums.
Like the hip-hop team, the thirteen-member boy group’s other two units will have a music video for their corresponding track. The performance unit, which includes Hoshi, Jun, The8, and Dino, is scheduled to release a music video for their song “Spell” on May 16. Following them, SEVENTEEN’s vocal unit, comprised of Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan, will come out with their music video for “Cheers to youth” on May 23.
During the build-up for 17 IS RIGHT HERE, the group tweeted MV Previews for each song concept on April 23. Since then, Carats, SEVENTEEN’S fans, have been highly anticipating the individual releases.

Moreover, SEVENTEEN is currently on the encore leg of their Asia tour, FOLLOW Again. In a press release from their agency, PLEDIS Entertainment stated the tour is “a token of gratitude towards Carat, who have shown love for the band.” Amping the excitement, on April 27, days before the album’s release, the group performed their new songs for their Seoul, South Korea concert.

17 IS RIGHT HERE released on April 29, reaching number five on the Billboard 200. Furthermore, “this marks Seventeen’s fifth top 10 entry on Billboard 200,” as reported by The Korea Times.
