A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Gets New Trailer
Young Adult Mystery crime novel, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, just released a new trailer. The series will hit Netflix on July 1.
New York Times Best Selling Author Holly Jackson’s debut novel A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has been adapted into a television series. Premiering on BBC iPlayer for the UK and Ireland, it is set to release on Netflix for US watchers later in the year.

Wednesday actress Emma Myers will portray the main character, Pip Fitz-Amobi. The six-episode series follows Pip, an ambitious 17-year-old who solves the murder-suicide of a high school student five years ago for her school project.
Five years prior, Sal Singh, who allegedly died from suiced, murdered his girlfriend, popular senior Andie Bell. Pip decides to re-open the case in hopes of bringing justice, finding Andie’s true killer, and discovering the secret behind Sal’s death. Teaming up with Sal’s younger brother, Ravi, Pip questions suspects and builds a case. Tensions rise and Pip is left scrambling for answers. Viewers are left wondering if Pip will find the murderer or get trapped in the case.
Alongside Myers, Zain Iqbal (Ravi Singh) India Lillie Davies (Andie Bell), Mathew Baynton (Elliot Ward), Henry Ashton (Max Hastings), and Carla Woodcock (Becca Bell) portray the main characters. In addition, the cast features Anna Maxwell Martin as Leanne Fitz-Amobi, Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren Gibson, and Jessica Webber as Nat Da Silva.
The author’s novel sold more than 2 million copies internationally since publication in 2019. The writer then went on to publish Good Girl, Bad Blood (2020), As Good As Dead (2021), and Kill Joy (2022) via Electric Monkey in the UK and Delacorte Press in the US.
