It’s official—actress Millie Bobby Brown and rockstar son Jake Bongiovi have finally tied the knot.
It has been a little over a year since the couple announced their engagement to the world. On April 11, 2023, the pair posted loving pictures of each other on their Instagrams, with Brown’s post featuring her new engagement ring and a caption quoting Taylor Swift’s “Lover.” “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all,” it reads.
On the weekend before last, the pair reportedly exchanged vows in a small, intimate ceremony. Neither the couple nor other sources have shared many details about the ceremony. All the public knows is that the ceremony happened somewhere in America and was “a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” as a source told The Sun. The source also reported that, although the couple has done all the paperwork required to wed, they are currently planning a larger celebration that will take place in the U.S. “later this year.”

Rock n’ roll legend Jon Bon Jovi, the father of the groom, could not be happier about the young couple’s nuptials. Having met his wife, Dorothea Bongiovi, when they were both teenagers, the “Blaze of Glory” singer has no problem with his son getting married at a young age. “I don’t know if age matters… if you find the right partner, and you grow together.” the “Keep the Faith” singer stated in an interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy. “My advice, really, is that growing together is wise,” he added. Bon Jovi then went on to praise Brown, the newest addition to the Bongiovi family: “Millie’s wonderful. Her whole family is great…Jake is very, very happy.”
Though the pair have settled down with each other, neither of them is planning to slow down any time soon. Apart from starring in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, Brown has taken on many other exciting roles in films such as Damsel, Godzilla vs. Kong, and the Enola Holmes movies. Bongiovi also continues to find great success in his modeling career.
