Kehlani Releases New Single With Limited-Edition T-Shirt to Support Palestine

On May 31, Kehlani released her new single, “Next 2 U.” The song is accompanied by a limited-edition t-shirt, with proceeds going to Operation Olive Branch to aid and support Palestinian families.

Kehlani is no stranger to activism and social justice. Vocal about past and present societal issues, she has provided links and resources for fans to educate themselves on important matters. Now, the singer-songwriter is fueling her passion for activism with new music.

Partnering with Nol Collective, the t-shirt is being printed and shipped from their headquarters in Palestine. As tension grows in Gaza amid several social justice movements to “Free Palestine,” Kehlani wants to donate to those groups severely affected.

The artist shared, “100% PROCEEDS OF THE MERCH GO TO @operationolivebranch SPLIT EVENLY BETWEEN THEIR PALESTINIAN, CONGOLESE & SUDANESE FAMILIES.” 

As other celebrities have become vocal on the issues surrounding Palestine, Congo, and Sudan, Kehlani has uploaded several Instagram stories and posts to educate fans and amplify Palestinian, Sudan, and Congo voices.

The newest single will generate generous donations for affected communities, as well as the introduction to new artists and organizations striving for the improvement of social justice. In addition, the merchandise will provide further assistance in donating to relocate families out of Gaza to rebuild.
