Maisie Williams Rocks New Retro 60s Look
Actress Maisie Williams, best known for her role in Game of Thrones, showed off her new 60s-inspired look.
Williams has been a fashion icon since her early acting days. Her style evolution is one for the books. Initially, the British actress primarily wore girly, modestly chic outfits.

Many of the Game of Thrones actress’s carpet looks were very fitting when business casual wear was all the rage. However, several of Williams’s beginning looks also reflected her trying to figure out her style. In 2015, the Gold actress started to pull out more edgy, avant-garde looks.

This bold, dark look from the Emmys in 2015 represents the evolution of Williams’s style. The outfit and her hair are a much darker chocolate brown, enhancing her facial features and complementing her eyes. The dress matches that dark essence while maintaining some youthfulness with the tea length and pattern on top.

For this 2019 look, the Then Came You actress dyed her hair a beautiful pink color to match her dress. It shows her edgy fashion while connecting to her past looks again with the tea-length dress.

Williams even hopped on the bleached eyebrow trend, looking very punk and high-fashion. This year, the Cyberbully actress transitioned into a more vintage late 50s-esque style. She’s been seen in designs by Maison Margiela, Dior, Givenchy, Simone Rocha, Alexander McQueen, and Comme des Garçons.

These outfits are from her 2024 press tour for the Apple TV+ series The New Look, which takes place during WWII. Since then, Williams has kept that retro look going with this 60s animal print ensemble, a black headband, and long-layered hair.

Williams revealed, “I’ve done a lot of looks throughout my career – like pink hair and sparkly eyeshadow and things that felt very poppy and fun and expressive – but more recently, I’ve been going for things that are more traditional or classic, and it’s making me feel really confident, which is nice.”
