Rodriguez is an Argentinian actress who you might recognize from Star Trek: Picard and Holiday in the Vineyards. She is also appearing in the independent crime film The Sheriff, which is premiering at the American Film Market in November. Meanwhile, you might recognize Denman for his recurring role in The Office, where he portrayed Roy Anderson. On the film side, he appeared in The Equalizer 3 last year.
Though Denman’s character in Peacemaker is unknown, Rodriguez is confirmed to portray Sasha Bordeaux. In DC Comics, this character associates herself with Batman and Amanda Waller. Regardless, both are welcome additions to James Gunn’s DC Universe. The second season is shooting concurrently with James Gunn’s Superman. Peacemaker will be the second DCU series to premiere following this year’s Creature Commandos.

James Gunn created Peacemaker as a spinoff to his 2021 film The Suicide Squad. He wrote the entire first season and directed five of the eight episodes. Peacemaker was renewed for a second season after highly positive critic and audience reception.
However, a lot more is happening at DC in the present day. Gunn is now the CEO of the entire studio and is rebooting the DC Extended Universe into a new DCU. Unlike the first season, the second season will take place in the DCU. Once again, James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of the season. However, his other duties as CEO and concurrent production of Superman means he is only directing three episodes this season.
