Taylor Swift Sings Throwback Surprise Song at Eras Tour
Taylor Swift surprised her fans as she performed “Crazier” on Saturday night in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The artist made her way to the piano to finish the surprise song section of the concert. She told fans, “You get extra credit points if you know this song at all cause it is really, really old.” For the first time in 15 years, Swift sang “Crazier” from Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium fans sang along, screaming, reliving their childhood memories. The crowd was overjoyed as they watched the 34-year-old artist sing the throwback she originally sang at 19. Fans posted their excitement about Swift’s surprise on social media.

Hannah Montana: The Movie, released in 2009, follows Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) and Travis Brody (Jackson Till). Towards the film’s end, Swift comes on stage and plays a heartwarming song as Miley and Travis share a dance. In addition, Swift wrote “You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home,” which Cyrus sings later in the film.
Swift and Cyrus grew up in the entertainment industry, loved country music, and knew the struggles of balancing work and teenage years. As the two grew close in Hollywood life, a friendship was built. In 2009, the duo sang Swift’s song “Fifteen” at the Grammys.

The Edinburgh concert was one to remember. After singing “Cardigan” from Folklore, Friday night, Swift congratulated a couple’s engagement. Swift told the crowd, “I love performing this entire show in the sunlight ’cause I’m pretty sure I just saw somebody get engaged over here.”
The songwriter explained, “You have no idea; I never get to see that, right? ‘Cause it’s dark, usually, at night. But it’s not right now, so congratulations! Wow. I saw that whole thing! Man, that’s amazing.”
