Euphoria revealed that they are featuring big changes and are scheduled to start filming season 3 by the end of the year.

Euphoria season 2 ended abruptly, leaving viewers desperately wanting more. In hopes of finishing the character’s storylines, Casey Bloys reportedly stated that production will start by the end of the year, planning their production in 2025. Bloys revealed that the “same core cast” will return, but the timeline will be post-high school.

Plans on how Euphoria season 3 will play out have yet to be released to the public. Additionally, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Alexa Demi have confirmed their return for the third season.

Bloys stated “One of the issues I think that Sam [Levinson] is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore. That’s where it was set and what made sense then. So when you take it out of that, there’s a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff. But I think he’s got a take that he’s excited about, and he’s busy writing.”

Fans on social media are posting their excitement to see their favorite series return to the screens. Viewers are anxious to know how the new season will adapt to the changes.

Previously, the HBO Max series dove into the struggles of teenage life as the characters navigate high school. Through addiction, heartbreaks, relationships, and friendships, the series drew in viewers as they represented real-life issues.

The recent season follows Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) battle with addiction and getting clean. Rue reunites with her friend Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer), and they course through their struggles. Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) is trapped in a love triangle with Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney) and his ex-girlfriend, Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie). In addition, Fezco (Angus Cloud) finds love with Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow), but towards the end of the season, he finds himself in a dangerous situation.

Sadly, the loving character Fezco, portrayed by Angus Cloud, will not return to the screens. Cloud passed away in September 2023, due to an overdose, leaving fans and cast members heartbroken.
