CupcakKe announces the early release of her fifth studio album, Dauntless Manifesto, set to drop on June 28, promising an explosive album from the bold artist.

The “CPR” rapper and singer has electrified her fan base with the news, sharing the announcement across her social media platforms. One enthusiastic fan commented on her Instagram, “ALBUM OF THE YEAR RECORD OF THE YEAR SONG OF THE YEAR SOMEONE GET HER HER GRAMMY RN.”

CupcakKe’s rise to fame isn’t unfamiliar but unique in her path to fortune. In 2015, the artist released two YouTube videos for her hits “V****a” and “D********t,” sparking interest among the masses and going viral shortly after.

Born and raised in Chicago, Elizabeth Eden Harris, known by her stage name CupcakKe, has carved out a unique space in the music industry. She began rapping at 14, performing church poetry under the same pseudonym, and has made strides in the music industry ever since.

“People were thinking, ‘She’s so vulgar. She’s bold. We’re going to get a mixtape that’s nasty.’ And then they come to find out there are only three songs on the mixtape that are [explicit],” CupcakKe told Columbus Alive about her album C** C***

Known for her fearless approach to taboo subjects, CupcakKe uses her music to address issues like sexuality, empowerment, and social justice. Her songs often serve as anthems for marginalized communities, providing a voice to those who may feel underrepresented in mainstream media. Her influence extends beyond music, as she frequently uses her platform to advocate for mental health awareness and other social causes.

The DJ and producer has been acknowledged by Fader Magazine as one of the 21 rappers to be excited about and was considered one of the Best Rap Albums of 2016 by Rolling Stone. Though she’s mainly known for her raunchy anthems, CupcakKe has seen music and writing as a deep and personal comfort: “Writing is … my friend. It’s family. I know it’s just words, but it’s something close to me. That’s how I look at it.” She reveals.

As the countdown begins, fans eagerly anticipate streaming Dauntless Manifesto this Friday, marking it as one of the month’s most anticipated releases.
