Halsey Teases New Single ‘Lucky’
To continue an exciting new era, Halsey has taken to social media to tease their upcoming single “Lucky.”
On June 4, the “Bad at Love” singer started an exciting new era of music by releasing their lead single, “The End.” Since this new era began, the artist has been teasing their fans relentlessly, leaving mysterious clues and easter eggs on their website for fans to discover and dissect.
The “Colors” singer has recently taken to TikTok and other social media platforms to announce their next single, “Lucky,” while remaining as cryptic as ever.

On June 25, Halsey posted a promotional video on TikTok, including a snippet of the new single. The clip features the indie artist with hot pink hair wandering around a bubblegum pink bedroom. From the blurry camera footage to the artist’s outfit and hot pink hair, it is evident from this video that the indie artist is taking on the aesthetic of an early 2000s pop starlet.
As they wander around a bubblegum pink bedroom, Halsey films a bright pink LED sign revealing the title of the upcoming single: “Lucky.”

This first clip is not the only teaser fans have been picking apart. The “Without Me” singer released a second video on TikTok the next day. The video built on the theme of early-aughts pop stardom and is from the perspective of the paparazzi following Halsey around.
As the group hounds the singer and snaps photos, one photographer asks the artist, “Why’d your boyfriend break up with you? What’d you do to piss him off?” Halsey, channeling the energy of a mid-2000s Britney Spears, responds, “You wanna see?” The same snippet from the previous video plays again as the singer struts to their car.

The “Eastside” singer has not stopped at TikTok to promote their new single. They have also shared new photos on Instagram with lyrics from the latest single in the caption and posted a new profile picture on their website. Since the artist has not yet revealed the single’s release date, fans stay tuned for more news on “Lucky” and Halsey’s upcoming album.
