New Flight Risk Trailer Starring Mark Wahlberg Dropped
Flight Risk released its first trailer on June 27 featuring Mark Wahlberg.
The Lionsgate film, directed by Mel Gibson, hits U.S. theaters on October 18. The action-packed thriller takes place on an aircraft flying over Alaskan terrain. In addition to Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, Topher Grace, Atanas Srebrev, and Monib Abhat are also a part of the cast.

In the upcoming “high-stakes suspense thriller, a pilot transports an Air Marshal accompanying a fugitive to trial. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.”
The trailer showcases Daryl (Wahlberg) taking to the skies with Air Marshal passenger Madolyn (Dockery), and a wanted fugitive (Grace). Questions start to arise when they head to New York City to testify against the Moretti crime family. Daryl reveals that he is a mob assassin trying to kill the fugitive to stop him from testifying. At 10,000 feet flying over the mountains of Alaska, Madolyn and Daryl break into a bloody fight until Madolyn manages to handcuff the assassin. The Air Marshal quickly tries to control the aircraft leaving viewers desperate to know how the film ends.
Wahlberg posted the trailer on his Instagram, quoting “There is no escape at 10,000 feet.” Viewers commented on their excitement stating, “Haven’t seen him a Villain since ‘Fear.’ I’m living for this. Cant wait!!!” and “WOOOOOOOOW YOU’RE THE VILLAIN??!!!!! Okay I gotta see this!”
Wahlberg surprised fans with his new look for Flight Risk. The actor appears bald making his character more authentic for the role. The Ted actor explained that he decided to shave his head daily on set rather than wear a bald cap. The actor told People, “But the most priceless thing was seeing my wife’s face when I took my hat off after getting the hair cut for work that day.”
