Megan Thee Stallion has just released her self-titled album MEGAN, solidifying herself as a force not to be reckoned with.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is a powerhouse. From having a new collection with Nike and training for her Hot Girl Summer tour to absolutely stunning fans, it is no surprise the rapper has created an album that is not only catchy but sets the record straight about several rumors regarding her.

First, Megan Thee Stallion created a visually pleasing concept for her newest album. With the constant theme of snakes and shedding skin, alluding to the rapper starting a new era in her career. One of the promotional covers for her new album depicts the rapper emerging from a butterfly cocoon to signify rebirth and growth.

Next, the rapper’s third album has a whopping eighteen tracks, with features from rapper GloRilla and Grammy-winning Victoria Monét. But that is not all Megan Thee Stallion gave her “Hotties,” she also snuck a few unexpected features leaving fans hissing for more.

For the track “Mamushi” featuring Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, Megan Thee Stallion dives into the Japanese rap scene rapping a few bars in the language itself, proving once again how versatile she can be in her music. In “Figueroa” rumors swirl the rapper is dissing Iggy Azalea in the song, who publicly wrote a letter of support for Tory Lanez during the infamous shooting trial. “White b*tch on the internet dissin’ Megan/ Black ghostwriter, what the f*ck” Megan Thee Stallion raps.

Now, Megan Thee Stallion is a huge fan of anime. From cosplaying as her favorite characters, making tiny references, and even hosting the Crunchyroll awards in Japan, the rapper has her fans in a chokehold with this surprise feature. “Otaku Hot Girl” is inspired by her recent trip to Japan and her love for the critically acclaimed anime Jujutsu Kaisen. With similar production beats to Doja Cat’s “Juicy,” the rapper proves once again she can rap over any beat.

What sets “Otaku Hot Girl” apart from other tracks is simple. The rapper was able to recruit the Yuji Itadori English dub actor Adam McArthur to narrate the song’s intro. Besides the killer intro, Megan Thee Stallion also embedded several more anime references, such as “Ayy, can’t touch me like Gojo/Fightin’ demons in my head like I’m Itadori.” Gojo has special powers in the anime that make his opponents unable to get a hit on him, while Itadori is a vessel for a demon’s finger after ingesting it.

Lastly, Megan Thee Stallion does not let up on the haters throughout the entirety of her new album. The second track “Rattle” is an epic clapback to rappers that had “beef” with her in the past. Coming to clear her name and address the issues at hand, Megan Thee Stallion uses clever wordplay in the titles of the tracks, such as “Boa” and “Cobra” to represent her embodying the symbol of a snake.

Fans are “rattled” by the “Body” rapper’s fiery temper throughout the song, having her own therapy session to finally clear the air about certain rumors that have been swirling around in the media. While fans are trying to decipher who exactly she may be clapping back at, her bars make it a bit clearer.

“D*mn, b*tch, it been four years/ Worry ’bout your man and your kid/Your life must be borin’ as f*ck if you still reminiscin’ ’bout sh*t that we did/ And I ain’t worried ’bout the bitter b*tch link-up/ Y’all h*– earned them seats in the fan club/ Ain’t got no tea on me, this ho think she TMZ,” she raps.

A lot of fans are suggesting her ferocious bars are directed towards infamous rapper Nicki Minaj, who previously fired back with her single “Big Foot” after she suspected Megan Thee Stallion was dissing her in “Hiss.” While we are still unsure what the rapper’s intention was, it seems this feud may be far from over.

Aside from that, Megan Thee Stallion knocks it out of the park with her third album. From catchy tunes to fun anime references, the rapper proves her versatility and creativity are unmatched, cultivating the perfect arrangement of songs to get ready with the girls just in time for hot girl summer.
