After a hiatus from the spotlight, Harry Styles has made a rare appearance to perform with Stevie Nicks at Hyde Park in London.

Earlier this year, Stevie Nicks announced she would headline Hyde Park, one of the largest and most famous parks in London. Nicks performed an exclusive and magical set with the help of an old friend.

Not only did she give an illuminating performance but also brought special guest Harry Styles. The duo have been friends for quite some time, with two prior performances already in the books before his arrival at Hyde Park.

The musical duo performed a duet of “Landslide” at the Forum in Los Angeles back in 2019, as well as performing “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony where Nicks was also an inductee.

Now, the duo reunites for a special performance. Nicks and Styles performed a touching rendition of the two songs for Nicks’ friend and former bandmate, Christine McVie. McVie was not only a singer in the band Fleetwood Mac but also a crucial songwriter behind a majority of the band’s hits. Unfortunately, McVie passed away in November 2022 following a brief illness.

The singer-songwriter would have celebrated her eighty-first birthday this past Friday, hence the special tribute from Nicks and Styles. With McVie’s birthday and Nicks’ headlining set on the same day, it’s no wonder the rock legend enlisted Styles’ help to honor her memory and impact.

In addition to her performance, fans have shared videos of the singer honoring and praising McVie across social media.

“She loved all of us; today was her birthday. It’s taken me all this time to try and be able to deal with this situation,” Nicks told concertgoers. “One thing my mom used to say to me when I was little was when I was hurt, she’d go, ‘Stevie when you’re hurt, you always run to the stage.’ That’s what I’ve been doing ever since Chris passed away – is running to the stage.” Nicks stated.
