Since Vice President Kamala Harris announced her candidacy for President after President Joe Biden withdrew, she has received numerous endorsements from celebrities, politicians, and influencers.

Her campaign began on July 21, when President Joe Biden withdrew from the 2025 presidential race, leaving the Democratic nominee spot vacant. President Biden endorsed Vice President Harris shortly after withdrawing to fill the spot. Since then, politicians, celebrities, and influencers have quickly followed suit.

Vice President Harris expressed her gratitude in her first tweet after the news broke: “On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country.”

Among the early celebrity endorsements was Charli XCX, who tweeted, “kamala IS brat,” referencing her recent album Brat, which successfully debuted at number 3 on the Billboard chart. Vice President Harris followed the British pop star on Instagram shortly after.

Ariana Grande also showed her support by sharing a picture with a link to donate to Vice President Harris’ campaign. Other celebrities who showed their support on social media include Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lewis, and more.

Tina Knowles and Tabitha Brown also took to Instagram to support Vice President Harris. Prominent political figures such as Hillary Clinton, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Pete Buttigieg have also endorsed her.

A recent Time magazine cover depicts Vice President Harris stepping in as President Biden exits the race. The end of Vice President Harris’s statement conveyed her determination to win: “Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.”
