The New Stranger Things X Bath & Body Works Collection Is Here
Bath & Body Works announced their latest candle collection with an unusual partnership. The brand is collaborating with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
Bath & Body Works is no stranger when it comes to producing excellent marketing campaigns. With a variety of products, ranging from hand sanitizers to perfumes, lotions, and even shampoo and conditioner, the company promotes itself as the one-stop shop for all things bath and body related. Its most notable product, however, is its candles. Available in both single and three-wick, their diverse range of scents will have your home smelling like anything from strawberry fields to pumpkin cinnamon buns.
This time around, Bath & Body Works has forged a new partnership with Hawkin’s finest from the hit series Stranger Things. In the limited-edition drop, fans can purchase four different scents (or all four, we don’t judge). Each draws inspiration from iconic moments and characters from the show.
Click through each slide below for a full showcase of each scent:
The first scent is none other than “Steve’s Scoops.” Based on the character, Steve Harrington, and his summer job at “Scoops Ahoy!,” this candle has scent notes of vanilla ice cream, golden waffle cone, and parlor sprinkles.
Second, there is “Eleven’s Waffles.” Fans can reminisce over the most important meal of the day with Eleven’s main breakfast dish of choice. With scent notes of frozen waffles (real fans understand), maple syrup, and melted butter, the candle truly represents a breakfast of champions.
Third, “Hopper’s Coffee” confirms that yes, Sunday mornings are for coffee and contemplation. Roasted coffee grounds, Tonka bean, and a splash of Half & Half blend together for the perfect cup of joe.
Lastly, “Argyle’s Pineapple Pizza” curates a blend of pizza dough, juicy pineapple, and fresh basil to replicate the aroma of a fresh pizza being baked in the oven (no carry-out needed).
In addition, with several videos showcasing each candle on their Instagram page, the brand enlisted the help of one of the series’ cast members. Priah Ferguson, who portrays Lucas’ younger sister Erica, tours a secret lab facility where each candle is formulated.
With eerily creepy vibes, the lab reveals a secret door where more nefarious activity is being condemned, similar to how the “Upside Down” was found and replicated in Hawkins, Indiana. While the video was cut short after discovering the secret lab, “To Be Continued” was spelled out across the screen in the signature Stranger Things font.
The four limited-edition three-wick candles officially released on July 18. Limited quantities are available, but fans have the option to purchase both online and in stores nationwide. To shop the full collection, visit the Bath & Body Works website.
