USA Gymnastics Team Arrives in Paris Looking Better Than Ever
The USA Gymnastics Team arrived in Paris preparing for another big success, hoping to take home gold.
On July 18, the USA Gymnastics Team, Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera, and alternates Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong, posted their excitement as they traveled to Paris.
For Biles, 27, this trip marks her third time stepping on the mat at the Olympic Games. At 19 years old, she attended the 2020 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In her next Olympics, she was 23 at the Tokyo Games. After withdrawing mid-way through due to the twisties after her vault attempt, Biles hopes to redeem herself in Paris. She posted, “Unwell, can’t believe I’m heading to my 3rd Olympic Games.”

The athletes are taking to the training arena, looking polished as ever. The girls were seen wearing a new blue leotard during training sessions as they perfected their routines.
2020 Olympic Champion Lee proves that practice makes perfect. A recent video of her bar routine shows the athlete hitting every additional skill with precision. A loving fan posted, “Suni Lee does yet another bars composition! This time a new Nabieva + Bhardwaj + Maloney + Gienger and Jaegar + Pak + VL which reverts back to her 2021 composition!”

Four women Tokyo Olympic medalists returned “to extend their success, and one young star hopes to help put the team back on top.” Rivera, a rising star and the team’s rookie, is currently the youngest athlete within Team USA set to compete in Paris.
After the men’s outstanding performance at the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, the team has ambition that the 2024 games will be their best performance since 2008.
Team veteran Brody Malone made a marvelous comeback to the “Olympic stage after a whirlwind career since the Tokyo Games.” The three-time U.S. all-around champion returned after a severe knee injury in 2023. Viewers have high hopes that the men will secure a medal this summer. If they do, it would be their first win since the country’s team silver in 2008.
Remarkable comeback story. Congratulations Brody Malone on heading to @Paris2024! https://t.co/GdLpvuL4pa
