Sabrina Carpenter Announces New UK and European Dates for Her Tour
Sabrina Carpenter announced new UK and Europe dates for her “Short n’ Sweet Tour” on July 18.
Because the tour has been in high demand, the pop star added four more shows to the schedule, starting with the 3Arena in Dublin on March 4. Five days later, Carpenter will have another show at the O2 venue in London. On March 14, the “Please Please Please” singer will play at the Co-Op Live Arena, and after, there will be a show at the Accor Arena in Paris on March 17.
The “Espresso” singer also confirmed that Rachel Chinouriri will be her opening act on the UK and European tour dates. Chinouriri is an indie alternative pop artist who released her debut album, What a Devastating Turn of Events, earlier this year with the hit single “Never Need Me.”
After these gigs, the artist is off to Paris on March 16 for her show at the Accor Arena. The “Nonsense” singer will have shows in Berlin and Brussels in March. The “Short N’ Sweet Tour” is set to wrap up at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on March 23.
The announcement comes one month before the artist releases her sixth album, Short n’ Sweet, on August 23 via Island Records.
The US leg of the tour is set to begin later this year, with the opening show at the Nationwide Area in Columbus, Ohio on September 23. In addition, the Short n’ Sweet tour will have stops in Toronto, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando, Austin, Dallas, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and more.
If you can’t wait that long to hear Carpenter live, the singer just headlined Sabrina Carpenter: A VR Concert. The exclusive event is available in Meta Horizon World’s Music Valley. The concert is over 30 minutes long and features hit songs like “Espresso,” “Nonsense,” and “Feather.” It was filmed in Los Angeles from the singer’s Coachella performance. Replays of the concert will be available for a few weeks, accessible through Meta Quest 3 headsets.
“It’s truly a privilege to witness and produce Sabrina at the height of her powers, especially after her phenomenal performance at Coachella. Experiencing her in such an intimate setting offers a unique and unforgettable moment for her fans, highlighting her immense talent and charisma up close,” stated Van Toffler, the CEO of the concert’s producer, Gunpowder & Sky.
