Mattel announced their first round of dolls, modeled after Ariana Grande’s Glinda and Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba. In an Instagram post, the Harriet actress beamed, “What a dream come true to be realized as Elphaba and Glinda in the form of Sweet Little dolls. Little Cynthia and little Ari are pleased.”

In the adorable video where the two stars saw their dolls for the first time, the Mattel team was met with an “Oh my God,” from Grande and Erivo gushing about how “they’re perfect.” It only got better when they learned that the dolls not only looked like them but also possessed their exquisite voices.

While the “eternal sunshine” singer took a moment to relish in the Elphaba doll and pointed out her “anxious eyebrows,” Erivo mentioned the baby hairs added to the doll, giving her hair a more authentic look.

The Glinda doll includes a removable pink gown and long blonde locks paired with a pink rose clip, letting users style her hair in various ways. Much like the iconic High School Musical and Hannah Montana dolls of the early 2000s, this Glinda also sings. Press the button in the doll’s center to hear 30 seconds of “Popular.”

Elphaba’s doll comes with her long braided hair, removable black gown, and witch hat. Much like the Glinda doll, when prompted, Elphaba sings 30 seconds of the beloved ballad, “Defying Gravity.”

There is no word yet on a release date for the dolls; however, it should be expected to hit shelves sometime this fall. Wicked: Part 1 premieres in theatres on November 22, check out the glimmering trailer below.
