What You Missed From This Year’s Apple Event
Apple unveiled a slew of new products, including the iPhone 16 and AirPods 4, at its annual event in Cupertino, California. Here are all the important details you may have missed.
iPhone 16
As expected, Apple also announced a new iteration of the iconic iPhone. This bundle includes the iPhone 16, iPhone Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Pro versions are more expensive but have nicer screens and more intricate cameras than the regular models. Apple claims the iPhone Pro Max has the “best iPhone battery life ever.”
Another standout feature is the new action button, which allows users to customize its function to do whatever they want. It can be used as a flashlight or camera, and when combined with the existing shortcuts app, it can do virtually anything.
The regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come in a variety of fun new colors, including ultramarine, teal, and pink. On the other hand, the iPhone Pro and Pro Max come in black, white, natural, or desert.

Apple Watch Series 10
The new Apple Watch has the thinnest design ever and has up to 30% more screen area than previous iterations. The new watches were also revealed to weigh less and have brighter displays to maximize visibility on the go. The company also improved sports and fitness tracking for rowers, kayakers, and canoers.
AirPods 4 and AirPods Max
Apple calls their new headphones the “most comfortable AirPods ever.” AirPods 4 utilizes spatial audio and environmental noise reduction to improve the listening experience. The AirPods 4 case will be smaller, compatible with USB-C cords, and can be charged wirelessly.
Apple also unveiled new colors for the AirPods Max, including a pastel purple and orange, a light gold “starlight,” and the sleek black color “midnight.”

Apple intelligence is designed to know users better and use personal context and information to expand users’ self-expression. During the event, the tech company clarified that some of the features will be available in a new software update coming next month and that, while deeply personal, the program will not store or share your data with Apple. One exciting feature is generative emojis, which allow users to create their own emojis by simply typing a few words. The emoji feature will not be included in the upcoming software update.
