In addition to the trailer, Usher has also released his performance of “OMG” in Paris. This sneak peek proves the film is bound to be a showstopper. The energy and captivating nature of Usher’s performance are magnetic and this performance is just the beginning.

Usher released his most recent album, Ruin, in 2024 but has been making hits for decades. The film promises to include hits like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Love In This Club,” Usher released his first song, “Think of You,” in 1994 and has been producing and performing hits ever since. He has received BET Awards, Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, MTV Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards. He has performed at the Super Bowl halftime show twice, headlining once.

While this is the singer’s first concert film, this will not be his first time on screen. In 2005, he starred in the Ron Underwood romantic-comedy In the Mix as Darrell, a successful DJ who finds himself working for the mob after saving a mobster’s life. He stars alongside Chazz Palminteri, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Kevin Hart.

While Usher has not acted recently, he has been evidently busy. His 2024 “Past Present Future Tour” started in August and ends in May 2025. As tours have been selling out left and right, those without tickets can still listen to new hits like “Ruin” with Pheelz and “Risk It All” with H.E.R.
