Brat Fall? Charli Xcx Reveals New ‘Brat’ Remix Album
“Goodbye, brat summer forever.” This was Charli xcx’s farewell message in September. Now, as we transition into fall, we’re embracing a full-blown “brat fall,” complete with remixes of every track.
The album Brat dropped in June, instantly capturing fans’ attention and sparking a whole new cultural lore. With its neon green cover and laid-back aerial font, girls everywhere channeled the same rebellious energy for summer 2024. The singer described a “brat” on TikTok as “that girl who loves to party, feels herself, but then has a breakdown.” The ultimate brat, however, is “bland, volatile, and honest.”
More than just a summer vibe, the pop-culture icon’s brat persona has evolved into a self-improvement ethos, encouraging fans to better themselves, for themselves. But the brat identity isn’t confined to pop stars and party girls. It even influenced Vice President Kamala Harris’s PR team, whose viral TikTok page, KamalaHQ, fits seamlessly into the brat aesthetic with its quirky, offbeat posts. Brat summer may be over, but brat fall is just beginning.
Brat O’clock
As summer ends, the brat spirit lives on. The singer announced on X, “Brat, and it’s completely different but also still brat – Out Oct 11.” This, along with the iconic lime green cover. Teasing fans even more, she waved around a piece of paper with a full tracklist plus features at her recent SWEAT tour show in Orlando. She asked the large crowd whoever got the paper “to take a picture of it and put it online.”

To further fuel fan anticipation, she’s been plastering the iconic Brat cover in the hometowns of each featured artist, this time with their names spelled backwards. Her bold, playful marketing continues to reflect her “commitment to blending diverse musical influences.”
As October 11 approaches, so does the arrival of Brat fall, a season where Charli and her fans continue to redefine what it means to be an unapologetic “It girl.”
